Acne Vulgaris
Acne vulgaris is a skin disease and found in men and women equally. Acne includes whiteheads, blackheads, zits, pimples, outbreaks of lesions and deeper lumps. It appears on face, shoulders, back, upper arms and chest.
Types
Inflammatory: Pustules, Cysts papules and Scars.
Non-inflammatory: Blackheads and Whiteheads.
Cystic Acne
Cystic Acne is the main type of acne. This is very harmful and embarrassing skin disorder. It mainly appears on the face, arms, legs, upper body or neck. Teenagers and adults are most affected by this type of acne. They can appear like a nodule and have a size a diameter of 5mm or more. Cystic acne may form with pus-filled. They may cause more painful inflammation and a deeper infection due to squeezing and without treatment. Cystic acne can be treated by dermatologists. It can cause scars on the skin without treatment.
The Symptoms & Causes of Acne Rosacea
Rosacea is quite often mistaken for acne because of the similar symptoms. Rosacea starts with a little redness on the cheeks and sprouts into a chronic skin disorder that can be very discomforting and embarrassing. Acne Rosacea can be controlled if noticed and treated in the early stages.
Rosacea is an inflammatory skin disease that mostly affects the cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. It causes red bumps and small red lines (Telangiectasias) to appear on the affected areas.
