Mild Acne
Mild acne includes whiteheads, blackheads or postules which appears at or near the skin’s surface. It can be treated at home which requires 4-8 weeks of improvement. Treatment can also be continued to prevent the further formation of acne.

There are number of ways by which mild acne can be treated and they are:
- Acne products should be applied in the morning.

- A paste of sandal powder and turmeric mixed with milk should be applied on the affected areas.
- A lemon juice should be applied on the affected area and wash it with water the next day.
- Face can be cleaned by cotton wool dipped in rose water.
- The toothpaste should be applied on the affected areas to reduce the swelling.
- Face should be washed with warm and mild salt water which will dry up the excess acne-inducing oils.
- Plenty of fruits and vegetables should be eaten.
- One of the most effective home remedy for acne patients is to mix the paste of neem leaves with turmeric and apply on the affected areas.
- Ripe tomatoes pulp should be applied on the acne up to 1 hour and then wash it.
- Aloe Vera juice should be applied on acne which is an effective treatment for this skin disorder.
- A healthy and balanced diet should be eaten and eating fried food, chocolate and refined sugar should be avoided.
So, mild acne can be treated successfully by using the over counter creams and cleansers and if it is not treated then it can develop into severe acne and can create problems for the people. Therefore, effective treatment should be done to prevent from acne scars.
