Our first quick pimple redness fix uses aspirin. Aspirin is Salicylic Acid, which has very good pore cleansing and drying properties, it is also effective at clearing redness and reducing inflammation. If you are allergic to aspirin, check with your doctor first before trying this out.
Take a couple of aspirin and crush them between two spoons, add the powder to a little cold water then mix into a paste and apply over your pimples/blemish. Leave it on overnight and wash off in the morning before applying your moisturizer.
If you have a sensitive skin and don’t want to irritate it, rather than using the overnight method maybe do your nightly cleansing routine slightly earlier than usual, apply the mixture and leave for 30 minutes before washing off.
- Tip: It is always a good idea to do a small test like this (or over a small area) whenever you tryout a new beauty tip or treatment for the first time.
